In late 2001, Bounty Killer made a guest appearance on No Doubt’s international hit single “Hey Baby”. The Killer appeared in the video which brought along controversy and embarrassment to the artist. Coming from a homophobic dancehall community they as well as his rival fellow Dancehall Artist Beenie Man picked up on the fact that one of its nightclub scenes showed a nude man, with that said Beenie Man ran with it saying Bounty is gay. Bounty Killer defends himself claiming it was a camera trick, he was not present when the man got undressed. The Killer also filed a lawsuit against the group for a undisclosed amount.
